Mike and Chuck Eidenschink of Peterson, MN celebrate 30 years of business for Chuck's Feed and Grain in September 2014. 30 years of serving Peterson, MN area customers and residents that have been a very valuable and appreciative part of their feed, seed and agronomy business. Chuck's Feed and Grain provides feed for livestock, grain drying and storage, fertilizer sales and seed sales and has a great reputation with many local farmers.
One of the things that Chuck's Feed and Grain does well is form relationships with its customers. The customer base is more than just customers,They are good friends.This is evidenced by the 30 year anniversary lunch that Chuck's held recently after starting CFG in 1984. At the anniversary lunch, employees were quick to greet every person that came in.
On this page you will see Haley Moch who is in charge of feed sales, nutrition and rations. Haley graduated May 2017 with a degree in Animal Science from North Dakota State University. Kriste Rislove can be seen running all facets of the front office for CFG. She has been employed at CFG for many years as a valued employee growing up in the Rushford, MN area. Mike Eidenschink is the owner since 2010 originally from the Peterson area.
Chuck and Mike have very different ways of running things. Since Mike took over in 2010, Chuck's Feed and Grain has expanded its business. They have doubled the amount of feed in the last four years,said Mike Eidenschink. Mike is a little bit more aggressive as far as expansion,. With the joy of expanding also comes the headache of creating more room to be able to expand. Mike added that they have considered options to expand their operations.
Under Mike's leadership, Chuck's Feed and Grain has doubled the amount of feed processed and sold. Mike jokes that they may be growing too quickly. It always seems like you add one thing, and it gets maxed out right away.
Mike is very grateful for the customers and residents of Peterson and Fountaijn that have shown them appreciation during the last thirty 30 years. Overall, Chuck's Feed and Grain is a story of a family business that continues to grow. Chuck has no regrets or doubt about the future of the business he started so many years ago. Mike has a lot of good ideas and does more thinking ahead than I did said Chuck about his son. I am very proud of what Mike and I have accomplished plus all of the employees current and in the past 30 years.
