Looking to expand into new areas, Chuck's Feed and Grain found a fortunate opportunity in Fountain. Just a little more than 20 miles west of its current location, Chuck;s Feed and Grain assumed ownership of the former Root River Ag Service owned by Jeff Redalen. Chuck's increased the amount of feed processed and sold in recent years and is poised to increased feed production again with the new acquisition in Fountain.
"Chuck's Feed will continue to operate the Fountain location and customers will see no disruption of service. All grain that was held in Root River Ag Service accounts was transferred to Chuck's Feed and Grain" according to owner Mike Eidenschink. Customer hours will be 8am to 5pm on Monday to Friday and Saturday 8am to noon. Customers will notice little change in day to day operations.
Former Root River Ag Service manager, Justin Redalen will will continue as office manager with Steve Arnold managing customer accounts. "We hope to maintain the business presence in Fountain and Peterson. It is very important for towns to retain their businesses for the good of the community. We have thrived because of very loyal customers and we are very appreciative" - thoughts from Mike Eidenschink on the new venture.
